Patagonia Photosafaris is a company specializing in photography trips assisted by wildlife scientists. Together with Marítima Transaustral, we have consolidated an alliance with the object of operating the M/V Forrest, a vessel dedicated to photo expeditions in Patagonia.

On the M/V Forrest, we carry out sea expeditions for groups of up to 14 people, for four, eight or more days, navigating the fjords and channels, like the Otway and Skyring Sounds, the Whale, Almirantazgo and De Agostini Sounds, and of course the Magellan Strait among others. During our trips we visit glaciers, colonies of Magellan penguins, a colony of black-browed albatrosses and a small colony of sea elephants. We also visit the Francisco Coloane Marine Park, where you have the chance to observe and photograph a wide variety of wild animals and birds, particularly the fur seals and the South American sea lions, petrels, skúas and of course the impressive humpback whales.

The De Agostini Expedition is the name of our sea and land expedition. We named it after the Salesian Priest Alberto María de Agostini, considered the last great explorer and first great promoter of Patagonia. Between 1916 and 1928 and later from 1937 to 1943, he explored the mountainous areas of Torres del Paine and the Great Southern Ice Field and as well the mountains of Tierra del Fuego. We also organize special tailor-made programmes for groups of 4 to 14 people, which according to the interests of the group can be carried out in Torres del Paine National Park, on the island of Tierra del Fuego, on Navarino Island, or on sailing trips to Cape Horn, etc.
